
The Custody of Funds Unit of the Treasurer’s Office is responsible for the deposition and disbursal of city funds. They also develop and maintain the City of Hartford's banking relationships in order to provide the most effective and efficient ways of conducting the City’s banking. In addition, the staff assists and holds accountable the banks to ensure that the citizens and employees of the City of Hartford are financially educated and are provided with the highest quality of service.
The Custody of Funds Unit is staffed with personnel that collectively have over 30 years of experience in the financial and banking industries. They are always available to help and provide a high level of customer service to the citizens of Hartford, their fellow colleagues from the various city departments, retirees and vendors who have a business relationship with the City of Hartford.
